Kim has a BA in secondary education from Western Michigan University. Her major is in History and her minor is in Social Studies. She is currently working towards a Master's degree in Educational leadership from WMU.
Kim currently lives in Muskegon and teaches at Muskegon Catholic Central. She has been teaching high school at MCC for the past six years. This year she is teaching US History, Government, Economics, H Government & Economics, and AP Comparative Government. Kim is also the Curriculum Director for the school. Whew!
Kim was inspired to become a great writer by a college professor who challenged her skills in many ways. She excelled in writing and was really able to write well in this class.
Her writing is specific to the purpose it is needed for such as persuasive and informational writing.
Kim enjoys reading immensely. She LOVES to read both fiction and non-fiction novels. Her favorite authors include Jon Krakauer and Jeannette Walls.
